- Place that I stayed is exactly like the picture, very nice and cosy. Room even has a walk-in wardrobe. Situated very close to multiple stations that are with 10-15 mins walk away. Will recommend highly and will definitely stay again there if I need a room in TaipeiDecember 2013
- This apartment suite is very well designed. I thought the small space was expertly utilized, and the large walk-in closet was very handy. This was my first AirBnb experience and it was quite positive. The room was expertly cleaned prior to my arrival, and was quite comfortable.Pros: It was a lot cleaner than I expected, which was nice. I had everything I needed - the fridge was useful, there was a water boiler, the small desk was the perfect size for me to use my laptop on without taking up half the room. The wifi worked perfectly for the entire trip - it would reset in the evening sometimes, but would only go out for maybe 2 minutes or so. It even worked with my wifi cell phone, which doesn't work well with a lot of routers, so that was convenient. I really liked the little bench at the entrance for you to sit on when putting on your shoes. Oh, and I loved that I could turn on the dehumidifier or heater in the bathroom if I needed it.The location is convenient - a short walk (~10 minutes) and almost equidistant from 3 MRT stops (Shandao Temple, Taipei Main, Zhongshan). It's also very close to the Zhongshan market bus stop.The cons: the mattress was a little soft (I prefer a more firm mattress personally) and the walls were thin - this apartment A shares a wall with apartment B - and I had noisy neighbors for a few nights. But I stayed for over 2 weeks and I was only bothered for 2 nights (it was 1 particular couple that spoke quite loudly, 2 nights in a row, well into the night). But this is definitely not Jadis' fault - just something to keep in mind - it's a good idea to have a pair of headphones in case you have noisy neighbors. Oh, also there are 2 steep flights of stairs (no elevator) - it wasn't a big deal most of the time, but getting my luggage up the stairs (and then later, down the stairs) was a bit difficult. Sansan, Jadis' wife helped with my luggage when I arrived and also offered to help on my departure, which was nice.Overall, great Airbnb experience. I would definitely stay here again if I traveled to Taipei by myself again (or opt for the other two options at this location if I travel with others).December 2013

This apartment is great location! It's very close to MRT station(red&blue line) and Taipei main station. There are a lot of bus stop, many good restaurants and Taipei MOCA. It's very easy to move every where I want:)
Room is very very clean. Walkin closet is very convenient. Door lock system is safe. Bathroom has very good drying system.
I want to stay again my next time taipei~!!October 2013 - From the street front, you would never think that there is an absolutely beautifully and tastefully decorated apartment hidden inside. 53 Apartments is in a great location (particularly if you have a 6am train to catch!!) and is conveniently located close to three different MRT stations in addition to being serviced by many buses since it is near two main roads. The rooms and even the shared areas are clean and Jadis appears to have thought of every last detail when designing these apartments.In particular, I was super impressed by the bathroom with its advanced airing system - which made doing and drying my laundry a breeze!! The apartment is also very secure with a tag/fingerprint recognition system to the suites, as well as a lock on the main gate downstairs. WiFi was easy to connect to and had a great signal. Seriously, 53 Apartment Suites is excellent value for money!!Food is also not a problem with a number of restaurants, street carts and a convenience store literally on your doorstep. There is also a fridge in the room for any drinks or snacks you might want to keep in there.Shan-shan and her husband Jadis are great hosts - welcoming, friendly and very responsive to all communications. I had a fantastic stay here.53 Apartment Suites is such a gem that I am torn between keeping it a secret or recommending it to everyone I know. Whether you are looking for a place to stay for business or leisure, short-term or long-term, I would definitely recommend 53 Apartment Suites.
