Margherita (Margherita SMN station) 

The nearest supermarket from the SMN station. Small but supplies necessity goods.

Perishables such as vegetables or fruits are available though it is small. If you bring fruits like oranges or grapes for your short walk, they will supply you with vitamins.

Just one minute walk from the SMN station can bring you to this supermarket.
Take the exit of the station, not the side of duomo, and go out from the station you can find it on your right side.
This supermarket is one of chain stores of leading supermarkets CONAD, carries sufficient goods so you can get perishables, every day items, wines and pastries.
It’s useful to get waters or take out dishes before going to Siena or San Gimignano since it’s just on the side of the bus terminal.

Conad City 

So pretty and clean like a supermarket has just opened now. Well-supplied and local people going to and from. The Entrance in on the left side, the exit is on the right side.

Vegetables and Fruits are available on the left side of the entrance, you can find jars and spices on the right side. Wide inner part. Especially people living in the center come to shopping here.

You can find this supermarket on the way to San Lorenzo if you go from the SMN station.
It’s a pretty supermarket, “CONAD CITY” is leading supermarket, having hundreds of supermarkets in Italy,
Items are well-ordered, also local people going to and from. Low cost hotels are around San Lorenzo area, if you have an accommodation on this area you surely come to this supermarket. Of course you can communicate with English since this area is noted tourist area.

Il Centro 

The entrance and the exit are separate. It’s an old supermarket and convenient for every day shopping. Prices are cheaper.

Around a cash desk, every day items are placed. From the entrance it seems to be small but inner space is so wide, you can find the variety selection of items than you expected.

Il Centro is a chain supermarket in Tuscany especially centers in Florence.
Two minute walk from the San Lorenzo Church. Even though the entrance is small, you can get every day items you need. For example, I thought I was so lucky when I found slippers even at the night.
To your joy, this opens until 9 pm, later than CONAD. It’s useful for instance, when you arrive at a hotel and you need to the water: far cheaper than one of Bar.

The entrance and the exit are separate. It’s an old supermarket and convenient for every day shopping. Prices are cheaper.

Situated in the center of Florence and so crowded with tourists and students. You can get every necessity, opens till at night on even Sunday however there is a long row at a cash desk always. You can find two 99-cents shops close to here: here is a recommended area for shopping.
