TRAVEL FROM SORRENTO TO ISCHIA BY HYDROFOIL
A day trip to Ischia from Sorrento is made easy by the daily hydrofoil service during the summer.
SORRENTO TO ISCHIA DAY-TRIP
Many people choose to take a day-trip from Sorrento to Ischia during the summer months and there is a daily hydrofoil service which makes this easy.
The crossings are provided by a company called Alilauro every day during the summer with one crossing each way per day.
The times of the crossings are as follows:
Departs from Sorrento: 9:30am Arrives in Ischia Porto: 10:30am
Departs from Ischia Porto: 5:25pm Arrives in Sorrento: 6:25pm
Price for a single crossing: €20.90
Return Ticket: €39.80
Daily service available from 9th April 2014 - 30th September 2014
You can now check the crossings and book tickets with our online booking engine. Simply select the chosen route such as "Sorrento - Ischia", along with your travel dates (including return journey if appropriate) and follow the on-screen instructions.

CROSSING FROM ISCHIA TO SORRENTO VIA CAPRI
For anyone wishing to travel to Ischia from Sorrento during April with an overnight stay, on the following day you have a choice of waiting for the 525pm crossing directly back to Sorrento (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays only) or alternatively taking an earlier crossing to Capri and then on to Sorrento from there. There are fast-ferry and hydrofoil services throughout the day from Capri to Sorrento. To get to Capri from Ischia you can take a hydrofoil with Alilauro and if you follow the link below you can purchase your tickets online via our booking engine with further information and timetables available.
