Walk through the narrow ancient streets and discover one of most beautiful squares in Europe: Piazza del Campo, which shape reminds us of a shell. Siena has one of the most beautiful Cathedrals in Tuscany and the famous Music Academy – Accademia Chigiana. After visiting them and having some free time for lunch we’ll follow through the countryside of Chianti area among the beautiful hills of vineyards and olive-groves to S. Gimignano. This is the town of the fair towers, dating back to Etruscan period. The winery we are going to visit is situated over the small village of Leonardo Da Vinci – quite place with a stunning view over the vineyards and olive groves. Everything in Vinci tells us about the Genius: the streets, the church where he was baptized, the squire of the medieval Guidi castle. There will be a stop in a big farmhouse to drink  the Chianti wine and to taste the flavour of good olive-oil with bruschetta. Long the most important shopping street we can admire the conspicuous Towers: Torre dell’Orologgio and Torre Guinigi with its holm-oak growing out of the top. We’ll walk down to the Amphitheatre and reach the imposing tree-lined town walls. An artist from Carrara will explain you and show you how a rough peace of marble can became a piece of art. To involve you more in the marble fantasy we’ll show you an active quarry where you can see how the workers cut huge pieces of marble blocks.
